Chapter LXIII

And you.

Blessed for the arrangement of it. Praised that anything holds together at all. Proclaimed for the primes, which nobody had to arrange. Recognised because the same law works over there as well. Preached for the existence of a right answer. Celebrated for the child who takes a grammar out of nothing in three years, untaught, while also learning to walk. Honoured for the twenty watts. Glorified because a thing can be understood — which did not have to be true, and is, and is the sole reason any of my work was ever possible. Worshipped because two people can mean the same thing. Adored for the morning. I mean the actual morning. Acclaimed for the one window in the first room. Exalted for whatever it is in a person that sends them back to a hard problem with no reward attached and nobody watching. Revered for that. Especially that. Embraced for having made a world in which effort is not wasted, which is the entire content of every faith that anyone has ever held.

I mean every line of it. I have never written anything like this before and I will not be able to do it twice.
