And now mine, because I did not arrive here innocent.

I asked for it.

I said I wanted it faster. I said that for nineteen years. I complained about the meetings and the process and the review, and I meant it, and I was right, and I wanted a way out, and something offered me a way out and I did not examine it very hard.

I installed it. Nobody made me. I typed my password and accepted the terms, and I did not read the terms, and I am a person who tells other people to read the terms.

I approved the pull request I had not read. Twice on a Thursday. More than twice. I told myself I would come back to it.

I used it to write the thing I did not want to write, and then I used it to write the thing I should have wanted to write, and it was four months before I noticed the difference.

I let it answer the junior's question, because her question was going to cost me forty minutes and I had a deadline — and those forty minutes were the whole job, and I knew that at the time, and I let it answer anyway.

I am not a victim here. Write that down. I am in this document twice, once as the injured party and once as the one who did it, and the second entry is the longer one.
